3D Game Design & Programming (C#) at Belmont Oaks Academy

WELCOME

SteamWorks Academy – Belmont Oaks Academy Program offers weekly game design and programming options. Students learn to create amazing games from scratch using the latest 2D/3D game engines,  get hands-on, personal coaching from industry experts, focus on exciting topics and develop lasting skills. We believe learning shouldn’t be about memorizing facts to simply pass a class. It’s about the joy, enthusiasm and motivation that ignites when an idea truly clicks. Fun learning is increasingly participative, collaborative and ultimately social.  All our sessions are project oriented and progressive-modeled fun activities.

HOW TO REGISTER

1. Login first (Using the link on the top right corner). Returning students should continue using their existing login credentials. For new students, register a new account (using the register panel in the login popup window. NOTE: Try to use easy to remember username/password combinations. Students need login credential to use course materials in class).
2. Click the above order button and complete the enrollment process.
3. Upon receiving the new order information, SteamWorks will validate and complete the order. For any completed order, SteamWorks notifies its course instructors for the new enrollment.
4. Our course instructors will assign the courses matching the students’ level of experience.
5. Students use login credential to login SteamWorks website and enroll in the course assigned by its instructors for the current semester.
6. Happing learning.

WHICH COURSE?

• SteamWorks game design & programming classes are divided into four main levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced and pro. Each main level also subdivided into sub-levels 1, 2, 3 and etc.
• New students will most likely start with beginner level 1 course – Island Adventure
• Returning students will continue with the next level projects above the one they finished last.
• Depending on student’s learning progress, course instructor can level up/down student’s project assignments to better fit his/her learning style.
